The Box Grove Community Association (BGCA) was founded in 1986 to provide a means of representation for the residents of Box Grove and manage the Box Grove Community Centre on behalf of the Town of Markham.
It is a non-profit, organization comprised of volunteer residents who ensures the needs of the community are recognized and considered by the Town of Markham, developers, builders and looks for opportunities to enhance and build  community spirit and involvement.

The BGCA is also responsible for the general management and operations of the Box Grove Community Centre located at 7651 9th Line (south east side of (9th Line & 14th Ave), which is home to Markham Coop Preschool , Box Grove Tennis Club and used for many private and community events.

The BCGA Board of Directors:

The Board of Directors  is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) by the Box Grove Community residents usually at the beginning of year. The Board meets on a regular basis to communicate and address community affairs.
